Located in the heart of Ladysmith, BC, we offer a variety of grab-and-go meals, baked goods, and beverages, all lovingly crafted in house every day. Opened by Chef Kate Cram – best known as the co-owner of local gem Old Town Bakery across the street – our story began with a passion for creating balanced, wholesome meals using locally-sourced and seasonal products for a more health-conscious community.
We believe good food starts with great ingredients, which is why we proudly partner with a variety of local producers and businesses, including Cowichan Milk Company, Farmer Ben’s Eggs & Sea Salt Chocolates, to bring you the best of what our community has to offer. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Kate’s love for cooking and baking took root early. At just eight years old, she received her first cookbook, Let Me in the Kitchen by Susan Mendelson — a fitting title, as once she stepped into the kitchen, she never left. Her passion for nourishing others runs deep, inspired by her Norwegian grandmothers and mother. That legacy of feeding others laid the foundation for Kate’s lifelong journey in the culinary arts.
